Why Read This? The one-sentence sell. What do you get for showing up to this book, even when it's hard?

The spy-brothel premise is wildly original, and the push-pull between Viviette and Jaghar crackles with real tension. Court intrigue meets scorching chemistry in a way that never feels gratuitous.

Synopsis

Crown princess Viviette has just returned from three years away and is desperate to prove her worth to her kingdom. When the cold, bitter Spymaster Jaghar catches her in a dangerous scheme, he offers her a bargain instead of betraying her to the King: join his clandestine army of masked spies who use pleasure and seduction to expose their enemies' secrets. What starts as a ruthless arrangement of espionage and mutual distrust ignites into something far more dangerous.

At a Glance

A medieval fantasy with a spy-brothel twist that is unlike anything else in the subgenre. Viviette is a princess who refuses to be sidelined, and Jaghar is the morally gray spymaster who hates himself for wanting her. The court intrigue is genuinely gripping, the spice is generous and plot-relevant, and the cliffhanger ending will have you grabbing book two immediately.
