I was a journalist, I had a life, friends, and then all of that was taken from me. No, not taken, stolen. The Brethren found out about my exposé. They realised I was getting too close to their nasty little secrets - and so they made sure I disappeared. Except, they didn’t just grant me the mercy of a shallow grave. He says he’s going to break me, torture me, use me in every disgusting way he can think of. There’s no escaping him. I know he’s too powerful to beat. But as the days draw out, as the nights get colder, I can feel something worse taking hold of me. I can feel how my body responds, how my emotions are twisting. I don’t want to want him.
