Cecaelians and Secrets

This cozy indie gem reads like discovering a weird little bookshop you never want to leave. Antigone is the kind of heroine who feels achingly real — living with chronic pain, working at a bookstore, figuring out her sexuality — and then the magical world cracks open around her. The Pacific Northwest setting is atmospheric without being heavy, and the cast of supernatural misfits (including her cat Samson, who absolutely steals scenes) makes it the perfect comfort read with just enough spice to keep things interesting.
