Why Read This? The one-sentence sell. What do you get for showing up to this book, even when it's hard?

A laugh-out-loud shifter romance where the donkey-stubborn heroine chases the cowboy across state lines and refuses to leave. The banter is chef kiss and the chemistry is off the charts.

Synopsis

Lindsay I’m not asking for much. Just a man who won’t roll over the second I push a little. Someone who can go toe-to-toe with me and can handle a woman as stubborn as a… donkey shifter. So far? No luck. They either just want my curves or my daddy’s money. I’m over it. When REDS suggests a blind date, it’s a no brainer. No names, no backstory, just chemistry. And Josh? He’s all chemistry. Broad shoulders, a calm confidence, and a smile that makes my stomach flutter. Right when I think it’s going well—poof. He gets a call, drops some story about a ranch emergency, and leaves. Rude. So I do what any stubborn, slightly unhinged woman would I follow him. And when the ranch turns out to be real, I start to wonder... what if this hardheaded cowboy is the match I’ve been looking for all along? Josh Mud and manure are the opposite of a love potions. My ranch has both in large supply. Dates? Not so much. REDS promises something different, a dating agency for misfit shifters, and I figure I’ll give it one last shot. Lindsay is smart, curvy, and stubborn as hell. Just the way I like it. So of course everything at the ranch has to go to hell. With no other choice, I bolt, sure that’s the end of it. Until she shows up at my ranch the next day like a woman on a mission, and I’ll be honest, I’ve never been more turned on in my life. So I hand her gloves and put her to work. If she can’t handle ranch life, better we find out now. But she doesn’t just handle it, she shines. Now I’ve got to convince the woman who chased me across state lines that the real test isn’t whether she can keep up. It’s whether she’s willing to stay.
